CURE-ND Clinical Workshop winner of Best Talk Award
Feb 2023: Dr Arpan Mehta was the winner of the Best Talk Award at this year's CURE-ND symposium.
Many congratulations to Euan MacDonald Centre member Dr Arpan Mehta on winning the Best Talk award at this year's CURE-ND (Catalysing a United Response in Europe to Neurodegenerative Diseases) Clinical Workshop in Paris.
The CURE-ND workshop was held at the Paris Brain Institute last week and included talks from both established and early-career researchers across a wide range of neurodegenerative diseases. This year's workshop focused on digital assessments and digital biomarkers, preventative trials for genetic diseases and clinical trial platforms. Arpan's presentation centred on the challenges and delivery of the multi-armed, adaptive design of the Euan MacDonald Centre-led clinical trial, MND-SMART.
Arpan is an Honorary Research Fellow at the Euan MacDonald Centre, a UK Dementia Research Institute researcher, and ACORD Fellow. Arpan was formerly an Anne Rowling Clinic Rowling Scholar and a Medical Research Council - Lady Edith Wolfson Clinical Fellow.
