July 2019: The recent golf tournament 'The Ballater Charitable Chiels Charity Texas Scramble' was a great success.

Over forty teams of four took part in the annual event amongst the breathtaking scenery of Royal Deeside, west of Aberdeen. A great day was enjoyed by the competitors amongst the typical Scottish weather of sunshine and showers. Congratulations to the Scottish Springboks (CBL) on winning the coveted Sandy Barclay Memorial Jug.

We're very grateful to the Barclay Family and Ballater Charitable Chiels for raising money for the Euan MacDonald Centre on the day.

Funds raised by the tournament are split equally between causes within the Ballater community and the Euan MacDonald Centre to support early career researchers in the field of MND in memory of Sandy Barclay who sadly died from MND.

Thank you to everyone who organised, donated and took part in the day for their support of MND research.
