24 hours dedicated to motor neuron disease research

December 2021 sees the launch of the MND24 challenge, a global initiative raising awareness and funds for motor neuron disease research.

Founded in 2020 by Sandy Stirling MND24 asks you to take part in any sport or activity for 24 hours during March 2022. You can either set yourself a 24-hour challenge or divide the hours up with a team challenge. For example, twelve friends could take on a two-hour cycle challenge, or 24 friends could all dance for an hour!

What is the MND24 challenge?

MND24 is a global event open to everyone, anywhere around the world. You can take part as an individual or as part of a team.

How do you take part?

The first thing to do is to decide whether you are taking part as an individual or part of a team. You'll then need to decide on where and when you will take on your challenge and whether this will be an in-person or a virtual challenge.

To make it as easy as possible, MND24 asks that you set up a JustGiving page, this acts as your registration.
