Why did you decide to fundraise?
I found out how easy it was to fundraise whilst doing my online shopping and thought I'd give it ago!
How did you raise the money?
I used the Easyfundraising online shopping portal when I did my usual online shopping on Amazon. I use it mostly to buy bird seed for my garden feeders, so it was nice to know that I could contribute in a small way to the MND research at the Euan MacDonald Centre.
Fundraising wisdom:
Don't be afraid of the portal - even for someone like me with not too much technical ability - it was easy to use. I'm planning on using it more in 2026 to see just how much I can raise without it costing me anything more. Some of the companies are giving back really quite generous percentages of your online spend.
